Whiteland Raceway Park, in Whiteland Indiana, is widely considered the fastest kart rental course in the state of Indiana. This paved karting complex is actually comprised of two road courses and a flat oval. It is one of the biggest attractions to small-town Whiteland, a suburban satellite of Indianapolis with a population of just under 4,000 in the 2000 census.
Only a 25-minute drive from Indianapolis, this is a popular destination for go-kart fans, from the big city, as well as small towns close by, such as New Whiteland, Franklin, Greenwood, Bargersville, Providence, Anita, Samaria, Amity and Trafalgar.
Built way back in 1958, the Whiteland Raceway Park is considered one of the oldest karting tracks in the United States. O
ne of the courses contains a rare banked turn, an added attraction to the Whiteland Raceway Park.
Serious go-kart fans can get discounted memberships, well worth the price if they use it frequently. A single ride goes for $10, three rides for $25 and ten for $75.
The Whiteland Raceway Park is the home of the Chainbreakers Kart Club, the oldest kart club in the United States. Group and corporate events can be accommodated at this rental track, whose motto is “Where families come first.”
